Description

You will help design and build cloud-native, AI-capable platforms using production-grade Python. The role involves solving distributed-systems challenges, creating scalable AWS architectures, and owning systems end-to-end from design through production operations. You will also mentor engineers and collaborate with product and AI specialists.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable, cloud-native platforms on AWS

• Build distributed systems, APIs, event-driven services, and core platform components

• Improve engineering excellence through clean architecture, rigorous testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and observability

• Own systems end-to-end: design, deployment, and ongoing operations

• Mentor engineers and promote technical best practices

• Collaborate with product teams and AI specialists

Requirements

• 8+ years (Senior) / 12+ years (Principal) / 15+ years (Sr. Principal) of software engineering experience

• Hands-on coding expertise with Python

• Deep experience designing, building, and operating cloud-native applications on AWS (or AWS/Azure/OCI/GCP)

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resilience, performance optimization, and security

• Proven track record delivering high-reliability production systems using CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and monitoring

• Excellent system design and technical communication

• Ability to work independently as a technical leader

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS) are a plus
