Description

You will lead front-end development for production eCommerce storefront projects, acting as the main technical contact for the client from build start through launch. The role includes end-to-end ownership—technical and architectural decisions, production-ready code, risk/scope/delivery accountability, and mentoring other developers. You’ll also improve scalable engineering practices and contribute to purposeful AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end development and own technical client communication (weekly calls, aligning priorities, explaining choices)

• Collaborate with PMs and designers to turn concepts into high-performing storefronts

• Write clean, reliable, production-ready code

• Make key technical and architectural decisions and clearly communicate the rationale

• Own the whole project: scope, risks, delivery, and final client outcome

• Improve engineering practices and drive scalable solutions

• Contribute to internal standards, tooling, and AI-assisted workflows; identify where AI saves time

• Mentor other developers and promote best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript

• Experience with React/Next.js/React-Router or a similar framework

• Must-have: prior client-facing work outside the client’s team (agency/consultancy/freelance)

• Experience leading production projects or small teams

• Pragmatic engineering approach focused on what works and scales

• Strong communication skills (fluent English; at least B2 Polish)
