Description

Lead backend engineering with a focus on TypeScript/Node.js and service development using REST and GraphQL. Work with cloud-native infrastructure on AWS EKS and Kubernetes, including containerization and GitOps deployments. Ensure scalable, secure microservices with strong testing practices using Jest.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and APIs (REST and GraphQL)

• Implement GraphQL using Apollo Server and Apollo Federation

• Build and deploy services on AWS EKS/Kubernetes using Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI)

• Integrate and manage persistence and caching layers (MySQL, Redis/Valkey)

• Secure APIs using OAuth and JWT

Requirements

• 9–12 years of backend engineering experience

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js

• Experience with GraphQL, Apollo Server, and Apollo Federation

• Hands-on experience with AWS EKS and Kubernetes

• Experience with Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD

• CI/CD experience (CircleCI or similar)

• Experience with MySQL and Redis/Valkey

• REST API development with OAuth and JWT

• Jest and microservices experience
