Description

The position looks for an experienced PHP backend engineer who will lead the team technically while still writing code. You will design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architecture, mentor teammates, perform code reviews, and set technical standards. You will also work closely with system/business analysis to turn business needs into technical architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design backend architecture for scalability, security, and performance

• Provide tech leadership: mentoring, code reviews, technical standards, and code quality

• Write clean, testable PHP 8.x code using modern frameworks

• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and collaborate with the system analyst

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial PHP development, particularly in microservices architecture

• Tech Lead experience or strong leadership abilities

• Strong knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and DDD approach

• Practical cloud experience with AWS and Docker/containerization

• English B2+ for working with documentation
