Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the USDC team, you will design, build, and scale backend systems that safely manage billions of dollars in institutional loans across multiple financing products. You will own critical services that support loan lifecycle management, risk calculations, and real-time position tracking, while improving developer tooling, testing infrastructure, monitoring, and operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of new financing products and features from architecture through production launch

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and frameworks for loan lifecycle management, risk calculations, and real-time position tracking

• Improve engineering excellence through tooling, testing, monitoring, and operational reliability

• Partner with Product, Risk, Operations, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, well-scoped technical solutions each quarter

• Lead initiatives to strengthen resilience, reduce operational risk, and ship safely at speed

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with production ownership of services handling high-reliability or financial workloads

• Proven experience designing, building, and scaling service-oriented architectures in Go, Java, or a comparable backend language

• Experience building and operating distributed systems where correctness, availability, and data integrity are critical

• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical design reviews

• Familiarity with relational data stores, gRPC/Protobuf, and observability tooling in a cloud-native environment

• Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight for measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
