Description

Provide direct urgent and primary pediatric care for patients ages birth through adolescence in an outpatient clinic setting. Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other specialized care. Provide oversight of medical care at the assigned clinic with support from Advanced Practice Nursing staff, and mentor/manage resolution of practice-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver urgent and primary patient care to pediatric patients (birth to adolescence)
• Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and specialized medical care
• Oversee delivery of medical care at the assigned clinic with Advanced Practice Nursing support
• Serve as a mentor and manage resolution of practice-related problems at the pediatric clinic
• Provide professional oversight and collaboration for Advanced Practice Nurses at the clinical location
• Participate in rotation for hospital call

Requirements

• MD/DO with training in Pediatrics
• Experience providing pediatric urgent and primary care
• Ability to prescribe/administer pediatric therapies, medications, and vaccinations
• Ability to provide clinical oversight and collaborate with Advanced Practice Nursing staff
• Willingness to serve in rotation for hospital call
