Description

The ENT Specialist (Otolaryngologist) provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for diseases and disorders affecting the ears, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures. The position supports patients of all ages who have conditions in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Treat conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck

• Treat nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and sinusitis

• Help patients with limited or altered sense of smell

• Treat head/neck tumors and defects in the ear, nose, or throat

• Collaborate with other medical practitioners

Requirements

• Medical degree in the state of New York

• Completion of an otolaryngology residency

• Must have a medical license

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness

• Good organizational ability

• Ability to work well alone and within a team

• Good interpersonal skills
