Description

The ENT Specialist (Otolaryngologist) delivers medical and surgical treatment for diseases and disorders of the ears, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures. The position focuses on managing a wide range of ENT conditions and partnering with other medical practitioners to coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Treat conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, and oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck

• Treat nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and sinusitis

• Assist patients with limited or altered sense of smell

• Treat head or neck tumors and defects in the ear, nose, or throat

• Collaborate with other medical practitioners

Requirements

• Medical degree in the state of NY

• Completed an otolaryngology residency

• Must have a medical license

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness

• Good organizational ability

• Ability to work well alone and within a team

• Good interpersonal skills
