Description

The Otolaryngologist/ENT Specialist provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with diseases and disorders affecting the ears, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures. The role covers patients of all ages and includes treating a wide range of ENT conditions while collaborating with other medical practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Treat conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck
• Treat nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and sinusitis
• Assist patients with limited or altered sense of smell
• Treat patients with tumors in the head or neck and patients with defects in the ear, nose, or throat
• Collaborate with other medical practitioners

Requirements

• Medical degree in the state of New York
• Completed an otolaryngology residency
• Medical license
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness
• Good organizational ability
• Ability to work well alone and within a team
• Good interpersonal skills
