Description

The ENT Physician Assistant (PA) works under surgeons or physicians to deliver care in ear, nose, and throat. Responsibilities include reviewing patients’ histories, making diagnoses, providing treatments, and performing patient assessments. The role supports core ENT/otolaryngology needs such as exams, counseling, medication prescribing, and assisting in surgery.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care plans, order tests, and counsel and educate patients
• Prescribe medications, conduct physical examinations, and document/provide follow-up on patient progress
• Research and apply treatments to ensure best patient care
• Participate in or conduct outreach programs to promote wellness and educate about disease management

Requirements

• Master’s degree
• Accredited PA Program in the state of New York
• Proficiency in performing ENT procedures
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
