Description

The ENT specialist (otolaryngologist) provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for ear, nose, throat, and head/neck disorders in patients of all ages. The role focuses on diagnosing and treating a wide range of ENT conditions, including complex cases such as head/neck tumors. You will collaborate with other medical practitioners to deliver coordinated care.

Responsibilities

• Treat conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck
• Treat nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and sinusitis
• Assist patients with limited or altered sense of smell
• Treat tumors in the head or neck and defects in the ear, nose, or throat
• Collaborate with other medical practitioners

Requirements

• Medical degree in the state of NY
• Completed otolaryngology residency
• Medical license
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness
• Good organizational ability
• Ability to work well alone and within a team
• Good interpersonal skills
