Description

Join a growing clinical team as a dedicated gynecologist responsible for diagnosing and treating patients’ gynecologic conditions. You’ll perform examinations, conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, counsel patients on contraception and symptom management for menopause/perimenopause, and perform selected gynecologic procedures. You should keep current with advances in gynecology and deliver patient-centered care with strict doctor–patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual and regular gynecologic examinations to diagnose conditions
• Record and update patients’ medical histories
• Advise patients on suitable birth control options
• Perform diagnostic tests including Pap smears, STD tests, ultrasounds, hormone profile blood tests, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies
• Explain test results, diagnoses, and treatment options
• Perform surgeries and gynecologic procedures including cervical cryosurgeries, dilation and curettages, pelvic laparoscopies, and sterilizations
• Refer patients to other healthcare specialists as needed
• Educate patients on reproductive health issues and disease prevention

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• State license to practice medicine
• Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience working as a gynecologist
• Ability to make quick decisions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Empathetic and compassionate
