Description

Provide comprehensive primary care by examining, diagnosing, and treating patients across a range of general practice conditions. Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through accurate documentation, appropriate test ordering and interpretation, vaccinations, and prevention counseling. Consult with medical specialists and refer patients within the network when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients

• Use medical instruments and equipment during patient examinations

• Collect, record, and maintain accurate patient information

• Document past medical, family, and social history; review of systems; examinations; medications; allergies; assessment and plan

• Order or execute tests, analyses, and diagnostic imaging

• Analyze test and exam reports to diagnose conditions

• Administer or prescribe treatments; manage immediate treatment plans with lab and imaging orders

• Vaccinate patients to protect against communicable diseases

• Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention

• Consult specialists when necessary and refer to subspecialists within the network

Requirements

• Medical degree conferred by an accredited college or university

• New York State licensure

• Board Eligible and/or Certified

• Demonstrated clinical excellence

• Nursing Home experience strongly preferred
