Description

Join a project supporting EU public-sector border and coast guard operations with modern IT solutions. The Scrum Master will help teams apply Agile methodologies effectively, continuously improve processes, and foster collaboration and self-organization.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives)

• Support the team in applying Scrum principles and practices and building self-organization

• Identify and remove impediments affecting team effectiveness

• Coach team members, support decision-making, and help resolve conflicts

• Work with the Product Owner to optimize the Product Backlog, split User Stories, and plan releases

• Improve software development processes and team organization

• Monitor team performance using Agile metrics, charts, and tools

• Facilitate communication between the development team and stakeholders

• Promote and support Scrum adoption across the organization

• Initiate changes to increase productivity and effectiveness

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional IT experience

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role

• University degree (Bachelor’s or higher)

• Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, techniques, and practices with hands-on experience

• Experience estimating and planning iterative and incremental software development

• Knowledge of other Agile approaches such as Kanban and XP

• Previous experience in a team leadership role

• Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills

• Scrum Master certification (or equivalent internationally recognized certification)

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
