Description

Join a telecommunications client team as a Junior IT Support Specialist. You’ll help administer IT systems, configure and maintain network infrastructure, and solve technical issues for users. The role includes diagnosing computers/peripherals, handling support tickets, documenting problems, and collaborating with the IT team.

Responsibilities

• Administer IT systems; configure and maintain network infrastructure

• Diagnose and resolve user issues; install software; configure workstations

• Perform diagnostics, configuration, and basic maintenance for computers and peripherals

• Handle support requests, document issues, and work with the IT team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Helpdesk / Service Desk

• Practical knowledge of computer networks, IP addressing, and router/switch configuration

• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4, DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and basic VLAN

• Basic experience with Windows administration, user accounts/permissions, and Active Directory

• Ability to diagnose and resolve user problems; install software; configure workstations

• Independence, communication skills, and an effective problem-solving mindset

• IT degree or a related field
