Description

You will lead and deliver complex technology initiatives for a major investment banking client, acting as the primary senior representative on-site. The role is hands-on: you will own delivery outcomes, contribute directly when needed, and manage consultants deployed to the account. You will bridge architecture, delivery, and business outcomes across a Python-based, distributed enterprise environment increasingly incorporating AI and data-driven capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and execution of complex technology and transformation initiatives

• Own quality, timelines, and delivery objectives; step in to drive execution when required

• Serve as the primary senior contact with trusted relationships across senior client stakeholders

• Lead and manage consultants on the account; ensure performance and delivery quality

• Coordinate across consultants, client stakeholders, and the delivery team

• Identify opportunities to expand services and support account growth

• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges while maintaining client satisfaction

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience across software engineering, architecture, or technology delivery with leadership progression

• Strong Python capability delivering in complex systems

• Solution or enterprise architecture-level operating experience

• Proven track record delivering complex programmes in large-scale organisations

• Client-facing/on-site/embedded enterprise experience

• Experience working with front-office, risk, or trading platforms in investment banking/capital markets

• Understanding of market risk concepts (e.g., VaR, FRTB) and financial instruments

• Exposure to multi-asset environments (fixed income, commodities, equities, derivatives)

• Experience with large-scale data systems and enterprise platforms

• Proven senior client relationship-building that contributes to account growth and consulting footprint
