Description

You will lead end-to-end delivery for one or more software teams, owning scope, timelines, quality, staffing, and delivery governance. As a former technical lead, you will make architecture decisions, design CI/CD and quality processes, dive to the code level when needed, and drive data-driven improvements. You will also transition teams to an AI-powered SDLC, build AI agents/skills, and evaluate GenAI tools for the delivery workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery for a project/sub-project/stream: scope, timeline, quality, outcomes
• Own staffing and team composition; interview and assess roles and seniority
• Set up or take over delivery environment (CI/CD tooling and processes) and adapt ways of working
• Plan and estimate effort; schedule delivery and track milestones and budgets
• Establish delivery governance (reviews, health checks, reporting, escalation across the SDLC)
• Define and track delivery metrics across scope, schedule, quality, productivity, and team health
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks (scope, schedule, budget, resources) with early escalation
• Make architecture decisions within team scope and translate architecture into implementation plans
• Perform code-level troubleshooting and support team resolution
• Design CI/CD pipelines and continuously remove inefficiencies
• Design quality processes across SDLC (coding standards, code review, static/dynamic analysis, refactoring, testing)
• Choose and tune delivery methodology (Scrum, Kanban, or other)
• Drive adoption of AI-powered SDLC; build AI agents/skills and measure impact
• Evaluate and select GenAI tools/platforms; explain benefits to teams and stakeholders
• Own technical and delivery communication with client stakeholders; handle conflicts and resolve issues
• Coach and lead teams by example; manage performance and build a learning, inclusive environment
• Contribute to presales via estimations, architecture reviews, and documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years in IT with a strong software engineering background, including 2+ years as Lead Developer, Team Lead, or Delivery Lead
• Proven track record managing delivery for teams of 5+ FTEs
• Ability to read and understand code and full-stack architecture, and to design and deliver one
• Working knowledge of architectural styles (n-tier, SOA, event-driven, microservices) and UML
• Ability to design for quality attributes (performance, scalability, security, maintainability) and justify trade-offs
• Advanced hands-on CI/CD experience (design pipelines from scratch and optimize existing ones)
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure); cloud certifications are a plus
• Advanced code quality practice: establish code review, static analysis, and coding standards
• Hands-on experience driving AI-assisted SDLC adoption
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and skills (e.g., with LLM APIs and agent frameworks)
• Solid project management: scope, estimation, planning, risk, quality, change management
• Hands-on experience setting delivery metrics across SDLC stages and delivery aspects, tailored to engagement model and approach
• Experience establishing team-level delivery governance (cadences, reviews, reporting, escalation)
• Agile frameworks experience (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to choose/tune methodology
• Testing fundamentals knowledge (test levels, test types, test activities)
• Client-facing technical communication and conflict resolution experience
• People leadership experience: coaching, feedback, performance management, interviewing candidates
• Strong ownership, adaptability, and clear verbal/written communication
• English at B2 level or higher
