Description

As a Portfolio Delivery Lead for Technology and Fintech, you will partner with executive stakeholders to oversee delivery of complex technology portfolios within the bank’s Chief Technology Office. You will ensure alignment across global teams, monitor portfolio health, escalate risks and issues, and support annual planning and cross-programme linkages to drive digital transformation outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area stakeholders, Project/Programme Sponsors, and Transformation Leads to enable effective portfolio delivery
• Act as primary liaison between Areas and the Central PMO function
• Align projects with organizational strategies to achieve portfolio outcomes
• Monitor progress, report on portfolio health, and escalate risks/issues to senior leadership
• Ensure programmes follow bank frameworks, standards, quality, and compliance requirements
• Support annual planning: advise on best methods and perform health checks on resource demands
• Coordinate inter-programme linkages for cohesive delivery across the bank’s Technology
• Track and report on programmes/projects beyond direct ownership for comprehensive oversight

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in portfolio management, programme delivery, or similar senior roles
• Strong understanding of portfolio management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
• Proactive problem-solving with experience in negotiation, documentation, and presenting recommendations
• Critical thinking and resilience under pressure to meet challenging deadlines
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills at senior level
• Leadership ability to engage and align diverse teams
• Deep understanding of financial planning processes: forecasting, variance management, and project accounting principles
• Strong time management and experience with continuous improvement initiatives
• Solid knowledge of technology infrastructure, fintech platforms, and digital transformation projects
• Advanced executive reporting capabilities
• Fluent English
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union
