Description

You will create readable, efficient backend code using Python and modern frameworks. The role includes designing and documenting technical solutions, implementing unit tests, and collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to deliver reliable services. You’ll also support the team through mentoring, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development standards.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, maintainable, and performant code using best practices

• Design and document modern technical solutions for application and business process development

• Prepare and run unit tests to ensure stability and delivery quality

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, IT Architects, project teams, and business stakeholders

• Mentor team members and help resolve technical challenges

• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and improve team standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position

• Higher education in IT, mathematics, or a related field

• Practical experience in building and evolving Python-based applications

• Familiarity with FastAPI, Anaconda, Uvicorn, and Gunicorn

• Comfort working in Linux/Unix and using scripting languages

• Experience with integration technologies and standards: REST, SOAP, SQL

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Experience with version control and code review tools (e.g., Git, Gerrit) and involvement in code review/refactoring

• Experience with Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation

• Ability to read and use technical documentation in English
