Senior Python Developer

Description

You will build secure, high-performing systems for digital assets and blockchain-based financial operations. The role involves implementing and testing features, defining technical specifications, and presenting your work to leadership. You will also design secure integrations with blockchain networks, crypto exchanges, and digital wallets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop features and new products
• Develop solutions based on business requirements
• Define and document technical specifications, including the appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
• Present implementation work to team leaders, heads, or the CTO
• Implement unit and integration tests to validate functionality
• Ensure software meets quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility requirements
• Participate in code reviews, identify anti-patterns, and refactor when needed
• Design and implement secure integrations with blockchain networks, crypto exchanges, and digital wallets
• Contribute to systems supporting cryptocurrency trading, custody, and settlement
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by your superior

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Excellent knowledge of software/application design and architecture
• Technical mindset with attention to detail
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
• Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Experience coding in Python
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Some experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies
• Experience developing microservices and managing containerized applications
• Some experience building WebSockets
• Some experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Helm
• Proficiency with version control and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins
• Understanding of web security standards and best practices
• Strong knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, and digital assets
• Hands-on experience integrating with crypto APIs (REST/WebSocket), smart contracts, or blockchain SDKs
• Upper-intermediate English (B2)
