Description

You will build from scratch and scale modern, cloud-enabled systems for managing documents in the insurance domain. As a hands-on Technical Lead, you will design scalable architecture, set high engineering standards, and guide a new Poland-based engineering team. You will also drive Agile/Scrum practices and promote modern developer practices, including the effective use of AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a new highly qualified engineering team in Poland with technical guidance

• Actively contribute to development (hands-on) and design scalable, modern architecture

• Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards

• Implement and champion Agile/Scrum practices (planning, refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives)

• Mentor engineers and foster an open, collaboration-driven technical culture

• Introduce and promote modern engineering practices, including effective use of AI tools

• Collaborate closely with global teams and business partners

Requirements

• Strong experience in software engineering, including building production systems

• Proven Technical Lead experience or direct technical leadership of development teams

• Expertise in modern software development with C#, .NET Core, SQL, and React

• Expert knowledge of cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP), distributed systems, Kubernetes/containerization, and CI/CD

• Willingness to innovate and develop teams with support from AI tools

• Excellent communication skills for an international, distributed environment

• Fluent English (speaking and writing)
