Description

You will develop and maintain business-critical applications, implementing new features while ensuring high code quality, application stability, and secure, sound architectural decisions. The role includes code reviews, diagnosing and fixing UAT defects and production issues, and actively preventing technical debt through refactoring and technical debt tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design and align on technical solutions with attention to data integrity, security, architectural quality, system availability, and technical debt
• Implement agreed changes and new functionalities following established development standards
• Review code for compliance with coding standards and technical requirements
• Identify and prevent technical debt by initiating refactoring and contributing to the technical debt register
• Support deployments and application maintenance with technical/programming assistance
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve UAT defects and production issues found via monitoring
• Estimate effort for planned system changes
• Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience
• 3+ years with Java
• 3+ years working with PostgreSQL
• 2+ years with Angular
• 2+ years working in Agile development environments
• Good knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles
• Good command of English for technical documentation
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum experience is an advantage)
• Strong ownership and self-organization; ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements
