Description

You will join a client project in the banking sector to develop, scale, and maintain a large-scale digital banking platform. The team delivers customer-facing access channels, designing solutions from concept through production deployment. You will build backend microservices and the Angular/TypeScript frontend, with an emphasis on API design, automated testing, and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices for the digital banking platform using Java and Spring Boot

• Create and integrate user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript

• Lead and automate backend tests (unit and integration) to ensure deployment reliability and stability

• Translate business requirements into secure, modern technical solutions

• Use AI assistants daily to speed up coding, generate tests, and automate routine tasks

• Support the full product lifecycle: architecture conception, development and CI/CD deployment, and post-release support

Requirements

• Senior experience with Java (JDK 21+) and Spring Boot (3.5+) with a focus on scalable microservices

• Experience building the UI layer with Angular and TypeScript and ensuring smooth backend integration

• Ability to take ownership of code quality and implement advanced tests with JUnit 5, AssertJ, and WireMock

• Strong SQL skills (including query optimization) and familiarity with Hibernate and Spring Data

• Ability to design and document readable API contracts using OpenAPI (Swagger)

• Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in day-to-day development and testing

• Familiarity with standard engineering toolchain: Git, Maven, and basic CI/CD processes in Jenkins

• English proficiency for communication in an international project team
