Description

You will design and implement backend-focused changes for a key system, with shared responsibility for architecture quality, data security, and production continuity. The work includes planning technical assumptions, implementing agreed changes, performing code reviews, and reducing technical debt. You will also support deployments and maintenance while diagnosing issues found in UAT and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and agree technical assumptions for implementing system changes, ensuring data integrity, security, architecture quality, operational continuity, and impact on the technical backlog

• Implement agreed changes according to Partner standards

• Review code delivered to the shared repository for compliance with standards and change assumptions

• Prevent technical debt by initiating refactoring activities and co-owning a system debt register

• Provide software and subject-matter support for deploying solutions and maintaining application modules

• Diagnose, analyze, and fix defects reported in UAT tests and maintenance issues observed via production monitoring

• Estimate the effort required for changes in the information system

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a developer on commercial projects

• Minimum 3 years with Java (Java 18+) and knowledge of Spring Boot 3+ and JPA

• Minimum 3 years with PostgreSQL

• Minimum 2 years with Angular (Angular 19+), TypeScript, and NodeJS

• Minimum 2 years experience in agile development (Scrum preferred)

• Integration knowledge: REST, SOAP, Kafka

• Containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes

• Application servers: Tomcat; environments: Linux and Windows

• Build tools: Maven or Gradle; CI/CD: Jenkins or GitHub Actions

• Version control: Git plus GitHub/Bitbucket

• Debugging and analysis tools: Kibana, Elasticsearch

• Knowledge of design and architectural patterns

• Self-organization, responsibility for service delivery, and openness to changes and new ideas

• English proficiency to freely read technical documentation
