Description

You will design and agree technical assumptions for system changes, then implement them according to client standards while maintaining data integrity, data security, architecture quality, and operational continuity. The role includes code reviews, reducing technical debt through refactoring, supporting deployments and application module maintenance, and diagnosing issues found in UAT and production monitoring. You will also estimate effort for changes and help resolve defects.

Responsibilities

• Design and align technical assumptions for changes with focus on data integrity, data security, architecture quality, and system continuity
• Implement agreed system changes following client standards
• Perform code reviews of work delivered by the team and other developers
• Initiate and support refactoring to prevent technical debt; co-create a technical-debt register
• Support engineering efforts during deployments and during application modules maintenance
• Diagnose, analyze, and fix defects from UAT and production-monitoring issues
• Estimate development effort for requested changes

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial development experience
• 3+ years with Java (Java 18+, Spring Boot 3+, JPA)
• 3+ years with PostgreSQL
• 2+ years with Angular (Angular 19+, TypeScript, NodeJS)
• 2+ years delivering in Agile (Scrum preferred)
• Solid knowledge of design and architectural patterns
• English knowledge to read technical documentation
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively contribute ideas
• Self-organization and willingness to take ownership of task delivery
