Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise web applications with a backend-heavy workload and Angular-based frontend work. The role includes delivering end-to-end features—technical analysis, implementation, integrations, testing, and production deployment—plus application monitoring and support for modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.4, Angular, and TypeScript

• Build and integrate REST and SOAP APIs and work with PostgreSQL, JPA/Hibernate, and Liquibase

• Implement features end-to-end (analysis, implementation, testing, debugging, and deployment)

• Monitor application behavior, identify technical risks, and support planning for modernization/migration

• Participate in solution architecture development considering business, technical, and security requirements

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers, and architects; provide technical support to other areas

• Create and update technical and architectural documentation (including with Enterprise Architect)

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with Java and Angular for web applications, including enterprise systems maintenance

• Java 21, Spring Boot 3.4, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA, JPA/Hibernate

• Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, RxJS, Angular routing, and authorization mechanisms

• Ability to build/integrate REST and SOAP services; JSON/XML; OpenAPI/Swagger documentation

• PostgreSQL, SQL, Liquibase

• Node.js, npm, Angular CLI, and Maven or Gradle

• Unit and integration testing experience for backend and frontend

• Ability to deliver end-to-end functionality independently

• Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) with awareness of security and code-quality risks

• Ability to analyze complex technical issues, estimate work, and identify component dependencies

• Independent, responsible, and communicative collaboration; willingness to share knowledge with the team
