Description

Design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications using Spring Boot and REST services. Analyze business/technical requirements, co-create solution architecture, implement system integrations, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews. Support deployments to test and production, monitor application health (logs, performance, availability), and improve CI/CD automation using Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java backend applications
• Build and evolve Spring Boot REST services
• Analyze requirements and participate in solution architecture
• Design and implement integrations between systems
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and business/technical teams
• Support application deployments to test and production environments
• Monitor application behavior; analyze logs, performance, and service availability
• Diagnose and resolve application and environment issues
• Improve CI/CD processes and automate development/operational workflows
• Work with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions in software delivery

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of Java
• Practical experience with Spring Boot and REST services
• Knowledge of design patterns and Clean Code practices
• Experience designing and implementing system integrations
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience creating unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes
• Experience with Git
• Ability to conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and security
• Ability to diagnose application performance problems
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services for hosting and monitoring
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD
• Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and fundamentals
• Experience deploying applications with ArgoCD
• Ability to analyze logs/metrics and identify incident causes
• Experience troubleshooting deployments and application operation in container environments
• Automation-focused mindset for build, test, and deploy processes
