Description

You will co-create and deliver a project to replace a system supporting the depositary function for investment funds. The role focuses on analyzing and prioritizing business requirements, supervising fund pricing and valuation controls, supporting UAT and data migration, and helping with production go-live and stabilization. You will also maintain project and operational documentation, manage cases in Jira, and improve operational tools using VBA.

Responsibilities

• Co-design and implement the system exchange supporting the depositary function for investment funds

• Analyze, define, and prioritize business requirements; collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and system vendors

• Control the valuation process for investment funds where the bank acts as depositary

• Verify correctness of asset valuations; participate in agreement and reconciliation processes

• Prepare, update, and maintain project and operational documentation

• Develop and modify operational process support tools, including VBA-based solutions

• Create test scenarios, perform business tests (UAT), and support solution acceptance

• Participate in data migration, structure/data mapping, and ensure data quality

• Manage and monitor requests in Jira

• Support production go-live: prepare launch checklists and assist with post-launch stabilization

• Ensure the delivered solution complies with business requirements and handle project changes

• Collaborate with teams responsible for fund accounting, custody, transfer agent, reporting, and valuation systems

Requirements

• Experience as Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Investment Fund Valuation Specialist

• Participation in implementation or migration projects, especially related to investment funds, fund accounting, or the depositary function

• Knowledge of banking, capital markets, asset management, custody, fund administration, or post-trade processes

• Practical experience collecting and documenting business requirements and modeling processes

• Participation in UAT and acceptance processes

• Understanding of complex data flows and integrations between systems

• Effective communication with both business and IT teams

• Ability to work independently and proactively, and to manage work in a dynamic environment

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities

• Advanced Polish and English B2+

• Knowledge/experience in depositary services or investment fund accounting (preferred)

• Knowledge of depositary duties such as investment limit controls, asset monitoring, reconciliations, and fund valuation verification (preferred)

• Experience in data migration projects (preferred)

• Familiarity with capital market communication/reporting standards such as SWIFT MT940, transfer agent reports, and transaction confirmations (preferred)

• Experience collaborating with vendors of systems supporting the depositary function or fund accounting (preferred)

• Ability to develop and improve operational tools using VBA (preferred)
