Description

You will analyze and model payment dispute and refund processes (AS-IS / TO-BE), identify optimization and automation opportunities, and define business requirements for changes in payment systems. The role includes running workshops with business, operations, and IT, preparing process and requirements documentation and use cases, and monitoring KPI using process data. You will support implementation and transformation projects in payments and refunds, including recommendations for improving chargeback and refund workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model claims and refund payment processes (AS-IS / TO-BE)

• Identify areas for optimization and automation of operational processes

• Define business requirements for changes in payment systems

• Facilitate workshops with business, operations, and IT

• Prepare process documentation, requirements, and use cases

• Analyze process data and monitor KPIs

• Support change implementation and assess impact on business processes

• Participate in transformation projects related to payments and claims

• Develop recommendations to improve claims and payment processes

• Work closely with business system owners and operational/IT teams

Requirements

• Ability to model and optimize business processes (AS-IS / TO-BE) and standardize processes

• Proficiency in BPMN 2.0

• Capability to identify bottlenecks

• Analytical effectiveness: process efficiency analysis and process design/standardization

• Knowledge of claims and refund processes (payment disputes, chargeback, refunds, handling incorrect transfers, customer and business claims, regulatory timelines)

• Knowledge of payment services processes (account/payment modules, data flow between systems, operational processes via payment channels)

• Experience gathering requirements, running workshops, and documenting requirements

• Experience with process automation, defining business rules, workflows, and system integrations

• RPA knowledge (a strong advantage)

• Analytical SQL knowledge

• Experience with domestic and international payments and standards: ELIXIR, Express ELIXIR, SEPA, SWIFT
