Description

You will ensure reliable IT operations at the Bremen site by administering and maintaining clients, servers, networks, and core infrastructure such as Active Directory and VMware. The role includes integrating IT hardware, implementing security measures (updates, patches, backups), providing 1st/2nd level support, and training users. You will also support production-critical systems and participate in IT audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable and secure IT operations at the Bremen plant
• Administer and maintain clients, servers, and networks
• Procure, configure, and integrate IT hardware
• Manage and support the Active Directory environment
• Operate the VMware infrastructure
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support and train end users
• Implement IT security measures (updates, patches, backups)
• Support production-critical systems and processes
• Support IT audits and implement central requirements

Requirements

• Completed IT vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker, IT-Systemelektroniker, Informationselektroniker) or comparable qualification
• Relevant work experience in the field
• Good knowledge of Windows client and server systems and Active Directory
• Network technology knowledge, ideally Cisco, plus virtualization knowledge with VMware
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and backup solutions
• Structured and independent working style with strong team and service orientation
• Fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
