Description

You will manage and continuously improve an IT infrastructure based on modern Windows technologies, including virtual server environments and core network services. The role includes administration of Active Directory, Entra ID, and mobile device management, as well as operating central services such as Microsoft 365. You will ensure reliable day-to-day operations and support users with IT questions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and continuously develop the IT infrastructure on Windows technologies
• Set up virtual server infrastructure, operate Windows systems, and maintain underlying hardware and software
• Administer network infrastructure, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Mobile Device Management solutions
• Ensure smooth operation and further develop the internal IT infrastructure
• Document activities via the ticketing system and support the advancement of IT-supported processes
• Support users with IT questions; administer deployed applications and their infrastructure
• Manage central services such as Microsoft 365

Requirements

• Completed IT technical training (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) with relevant work experience, or further qualification such as state-certified technician, or a completed IT-related degree (e.g., Computer Science/Business Informatics)
• At least five years of professional experience
• Solid knowledge in network engineering and administration of complex IT systems
• Structured, solution-oriented, and reliable way of working
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
• High willingness to work, organizational skills, and reliability
• Valid Class B driver’s license
• Willingness to travel for assignments to the Trier and Essen locations (up to 40% per month)
