Description

Own how merchant customer data works across the broader ecosystem, and build a clear, trusted customer view from scratch. Define the product strategy and roadmap for a shared customer directory across Online Store, Bookings, POS, Invoicing, Payment Links, Loyalty, and other platforms. Make core decisions on customer identity, data ownership, permissions, and consent-aware record linking.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmap for a shared customer directory across multiple products

• Lay groundwork for deduplication, segmentation, CRM, and consent-aware communications

• Make product decisions on customer identity, data ownership, permissions, consent, and cross-product record linking

• Partner with engineering, design, privacy, and legal to deliver a trusted customer view merchants can use

• Translate merchant research and product data into requirements that reduce duplicate and incomplete customer records

• Align priorities and dependencies with other product managers building on the shared customer model

Requirements

• 6+ years in product management, including experience as a senior product manager owning a platform/capability or cross-product problem

• Strong data fluency combining quantitative analysis and customer research to prioritize work

• Ability to translate complex technical systems, APIs, or data flows into clear product decisions

• Ability to align teams and manage dependencies without direct authority

• Working knowledge of privacy and data rights principles (GDPR, consent, data deletion)

• Plus: experience with customer identity systems, customer data platforms, or CRM-type products
