Description

You will manage the procurement of hard- and software for the association region and coordinate closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers throughout the purchasing process. The role includes market research, RFQs and offer comparisons, participation in procurement procedures, and order processing via SAP. You will also support delivery/service issue handling, maintain SAP product and price data, and check incoming invoices.

Responsibilities

• Procure hard- and software and coordinate with stakeholders across the full procurement lifecycle
• Perform market and vendor research, create requests for quotations and comparisons, and support procurement procedures
• Release deliveries and services from existing framework contracts
• Process customer and end-user orders using the SAP SRM module or Lean Request
• Handle delivery and service disruptions; maintain product and price data in SAP
• Create reports and analyses; review incoming invoices

Requirements

• Completed university degree with a focus on administration (e.g., municipal administration service), law, business administration, or comparable
• Successfully completed Angestelltenlehrgang II, or completed commercial training with a suitable focus (ideally as IT System Clerk/IT Systems Purchasing)
• Contractual and commercial knowledge
• Understanding of fundamental business economics
• Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• German proficiency in writing and speaking (at least C1)
• Required: strong experience with SAP-Procurement modules
• Desirable: basic knowledge of public procurement law and EVB-IT contract terms
• Ideally: knowledge of hard/software and IT services
