Role Description

Own end-to-end support, development, and operational stability of the SAP GTS landscape across compliance management, preference management, customs warehousing, and foreign trade. Handle incidents and ensure sustainable problem resolution with 2nd- and 3rd-level support, while implementing business and legal requirements through SAP customization and technical adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process incidents; drive lasting problem solutions and support 2nd/3rd level
• Implement functional and statutory requirements via customizing and system changes
• Assess and implement IT requirements for the foreign trade environment
• Support, monitor, and optimize integrations between SAP ERP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and connected customs/third-party systems
• Design, implement, and accompany national and international SAP GTS projects, system upgrades, SAP Notes, and technical optimizations
• Provide IT consulting and collaborate closely with business teams, customs owners, key users, and external partners to continuously improve business processes
• Ensure stable, comprehensive, and future-ready operation of the SAP GTS landscape
• Deliver technical implementation of legal and business requirements for foreign trade, customs, preferences, and compliance, including advisory on technical options, system processes, and optimization potential

Requirements

• Multi-year experience in the SAP GTS domain
• In-depth knowledge of SAP GTS, ideally across several modules (customs warehousing, compliance, preferences)
• Experience with SAP customizing and analyzing/solving complex system and process requirements
• Confident handling of SAP ERP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA and relevant integration technologies
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) and a team-oriented mindset
• Excellent German skills and good English skills; enjoyment of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
