Description

You will be the central point of contact for workplace-related topics, responsible for steering, budgeting, and continuously improving Workplace Services, standards, and governance structures. You will lead and coach the Workplace Management team across multiple German sites, strengthen cross-site collaboration with IT and business teams, and evolve the workplace portfolio. You will also manage external providers and service partners, driving harmonization and cost-saving opportunities while ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities

• Own governance and continuous development of Workplace Services, standards, and governance structures
• Lead the Workplace Management team across several locations in Germany
• Coach team members and drive adoption of changes
• Promote cross-site collaboration with internal IT and business teams
• Develop the Workplace portfolio across Client Management, Mobile Device Management, Software Distribution, Telephony, Printing Services, and Conference Room systems
• Manage and develop external vendors, providers, and service partners
• Identify and implement harmonization and cost-saving potentials
• Ensure high service quality and reliable, secure, and economical operation of Workplace Services for all employees across sites

Requirements

• Degree in IT or comparable training (e.g., Fachinformatiker/in, IT-Kaufmann/-frau)
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in Workplace Management, preferably in a multi-site organization
• Hands-on mentality and proven communication, coaching, and leadership skills
• Ability to develop teams, successfully manage change, and motivate employees
• Strong knowledge of modern Workplace technologies and IT service processes
• Experience with Client Management, Mobile Device Management, software distribution, room systems, telephony and/or printer solutions
• Willingness to travel within Germany to support company locations
• Strong customer- and service-orientation
• Experience managing external service providers is a plus
