Description

You will lead complex IT projects in the logistics and supply-chain environment, including the introduction of new route planning and the international harmonization of the LVS (warehouse/logistics system) landscape. You will develop future-ready IT solutions with business stakeholders, coordinate teams (functional and possibly disciplinary depending on experience), and drive process and system improvements. You will serve as the central interface between logistics, IT, and other departments, consolidating different requirements.

Responsibilities

• Functional leadership of IT projects in logistics and supply chain; ensure successful implementation (e.g., new tour/route planning, international harmonization of LVS landscape)
• Develop future-proof IT solutions with business units; take responsibility for and optimize processes across the supply chain
• Coordinate and lead Supply Chain experts (functional and, depending on experience, disciplinary leadership)
• Act as the central interface between logistics, IT, and other departments; consolidate stakeholder requirements
• Identify optimization potential, implement strategic initiatives, and further develop the system landscape

Requirements

• Multi-year experience leading complex IT projects, ideally in logistics or supply-chain
• Knowledge of modern logistics processes and how to represent them in IT systems
• Experience leading teams functionally and, depending on experience, in a disciplinary capacity
• Confident presence and secure communication with specialist departments, management, and IT
• Native/fluent German
• Structured, solution-oriented working style and analytical thinking
• Willingness to travel around 20–25%
