Description

Work within the ODC SRE team to apply software engineering practices that keep ODC applications reliable, scalable, and performant. You will support ODC products on Google Cloud Platform, build Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines, and continuously improve monitoring and alerting. You’ll also provide Tier II expertise during change reviews and support cloud deployment readiness and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support ODC products on Google Cloud Platform using SRE principles
• Develop and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines with Terraform, Helm, and GitLab CI/CD
• Drive a “you build it, you run it” ownership mindset across build-to-run lifecycles
• Act as a technical voice during Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews; provide Tier II support
• Own real-time monitoring, observability improvements, and alerting
• Support end-to-end cloud deployments including design, rollout, and performance tuning
• Maintain technical documentation, support incident response and SLA compliance, and join a 24/7 on-call rotation

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 4+ years in application deployment, system operations, and cloud infrastructure
• Production experience with GCP and Kubernetes
• Automation experience with GitLab, Terraform, and Helm
• Linux administration, networking, and HTTP(S)/TCP/IP fundamentals
• Scripting skills in Shell and Python
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, system integration, monitoring tools, Agile, and DevOps/SRE principles
