Description

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support two projects for an initial six months, with the possibility of extension. You will focus on cloud infrastructure operations and automation across multi-cloud environments, including monitoring system health, improving reliability, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance to proactively identify and address potential issues
• Design and implement automated solutions to streamline deployment and operational processes
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
• Participate in incident response, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures
• Build and maintain infrastructure that supports high availability and fault tolerance
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational workflows and engineering practices
• Support planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations
• Create and maintain documentation covering infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures
• Work with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure timely response to production issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cloud or DevOps roles
• Experience supporting DevOps tooling and process automation alongside cloud infrastructure management
• Strong expertise deploying and supporting Azure and AWS services (solid Azure experience is essential)
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Strong hands-on experience with bash scripting
• Expertise in Kubernetes, including AKS and EKS
• Strong working knowledge of Docker for containerization
• Hands-on expertise implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Practical experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology, particularly Scrum
• Experience working within Linux environments, including filesystems, memory management, threads and processes, and the user/kernel-space divide
• Solid understanding of microservice-based architecture
• Strong grasp of application security and information security controls (CSSLP certification preferred)
• Good practical understanding of large-scale distributed systems, including multi-tier architectures, application security, monitoring, and storage systems
• Experience with data science platforms or tools, plus monitoring/logging platforms (advantage)
• Broad hands-on experience with open-source technologies
• Fluent English communication skills at B1 level or higher
