Description

You will join the existing operational team to ensure stable and reliable operation of the bank’s applications running in on-premise VMware and Microsoft Azure. The role covers release preparation and deployment, operational support (L2/L3) including incident and problem analysis (RCA), and continuous reliability improvements through automation and monitoring. On-call duties are part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, plan, and execute application releases to test and production environments
• Deploy applications on Windows Server and IIS in on-premise VMware and in Azure
• Provide L2/L3 operational support, resolve incidents and problems, and perform RCA
• Implement infrastructure and application changes in line with Change Management processes
• Manage IIS configuration (application pools, bindings, certificates, authentication, URL rewrite)
• Manage virtual servers in VMware vSphere and Azure VMs
• Maintain and develop CI/CD pipeline for hybrid delivery
• Monitor application availability and performance, set up alerting, and respond to alerts
• Automate repetitive operational activities and releases
• Manage application certificates, configurations, and secrets
• Participate in on-call services and handle critical incidents outside working hours
• Create and maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and release procedures
• Collaborate with development, application vendors, IT Security, and infrastructure teams

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Application Operations, or IT Operations
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and IIS, including troubleshooting web applications
• Practical experience deploying applications in both on-premise and cloud environments
• Experience operating VMware vSphere virtual servers
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (VM, App Service, networking, Key Vault)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy or similar)
• Advanced PowerShell and scripting experience
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewall, TLS)
• Experience with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management)
• Willingness to participate in on-call services
