Description

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) applies software engineering practices to infrastructure and operations to create scalable and highly reliable systems. The Site Reliability Engineer partners with development teams to meet reliability tenets and Service Level Objectives (SLOs), enabling smooth and frictionless customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and onboard services and teams to reliability tenets

• Establish and maintain SLOs and SLAs

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, secure, cloud-native infrastructure

• Collaborate with development teams to build resilient and high-performing systems (observable, fault-tolerant, recoverable, scalable)

• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing to detect and respond to incidents

• Lead incident response, minimize downtime, and run RCA/post-mortems

• Automate operational tasks with a focus on fast incident detection & recovery

• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

• Communicate reliability and performance updates to stakeholders

• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for production systems

Requirements

• STEM degree (BSc, MSc) in Software Engineering/Computer Science or related fields

• 5+ years of experience in software development and/or operations

• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (C++, Python, Java, C#)

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
