Description

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support two projects for an initial six-month period, with the possibility of extension. You will monitor system health, automate deployments and operational workflows, and collaborate with development teams to improve reliability and performance across multi-cloud environments (Azure and AWS).

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance and proactively address issues
• Design and implement automated solutions to streamline deployments and operational processes
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
• Participate in incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
• Build and maintain infrastructure that supports high availability and fault tolerance
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational workflows and engineering practices
• Support planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations
• Create and maintain documentation covering infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure timely response to production issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cloud or DevOps roles
• Experience supporting DevOps tooling and process automation alongside cloud infrastructure management
• Strong expertise deploying and supporting both Azure and AWS services (solid Azure experience considered essential)
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Strong hands-on experience with bash scripting
• Expertise in Kubernetes (AKS and EKS)
• Strong working knowledge of Docker
• Hands-on expertise implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Practical experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology, particularly Scrum
• Experience with Linux environments, including fundamentals and internals (filesystems, memory management, threads/processes, user/kernel-space)
• Solid understanding of microservice-based architecture
• Strong grasp of application security and information security controls (CSSLP certification considered preferable)
• Good practical understanding of large-scale distributed systems, including multi-tier architectures, monitoring, and storage systems
• Experience with data science platforms/tools and monitoring/logging platforms is an advantage
• Broad hands-on experience with open-source technologies
• Fluent English communication skills at B1 level or higher
