Description

You will support EDA (Electronic Design Automation) users with problem-solving and specialist applications. You will train users on new working techniques and additional software, act as an interface between IT and development, and maintain documentation for standards and procedures. You will define, care for, and configure interfaces between CAD, PLM, and CAE systems while implementing IT security requirements in your responsibility area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support EDA users for both problem-solving and special applications

• Train EDA users on new work techniques and additional software

• Serve as the interface between IT and development

• Create and maintain documentation for standards and procedures

• Define, manage, and configure interfaces to CAD, PLM, and CAE systems

• Implement IT security requirements within your scope

Requirements

• Completed degree (diploma level mentioned; degree name is incomplete in the source)

• Experience supporting application software and gathering/defining requirements for such software

• Ideally: key-user experience in “Leiterkarten” (circuit board) development

• IT cross-domain process understanding and ability to map interfaces between development, IT, and the deployed systems
