Description

You will help ensure smooth IT operations for customers by providing 2nd- and 3rd-level support. The role includes administering and further developing Windows infrastructure and high-availability virtualization solutions using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, as well as managing backup and cloud services such as Veeam and Microsoft Azure. You will independently analyze complex incidents, eliminate root causes sustainably, and support technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth customer IT operations through 2nd- and 3rd-level support for Windows Server and virtualization

• Administer, maintain, plan, and further develop Windows system infrastructure and high-availability virtualization solutions with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V

• Support backup and cloud solutions, especially Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam for Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure

• Independently analyze complex incidents, resolve root causes, and optimize and further develop customer IT systems

• Support the team in implementing technical projects in the IT environment

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or training as an IT specialist for system integration

• Several years of professional experience in Microsoft Windows Server, VMware vSphere and/or Veeam Backup & Replication (manufacturer certifications are a plus)

• Good system knowledge and experience with infrastructure system administration

• Experience with Exchange Online, Microsoft Azure, or Microsoft 365 is desirable

• Teamwork, reliability, and high sense of responsibility

• Valid Class B driver’s license
