Description

You will join an infrastructure team to manage, operate, and grow an IT environment spanning physical and virtual servers, Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization, networking, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. In addition to daily operations, you’ll handle incidents, implement changes, perform patch management, monitor infrastructure health/performance/capacity, and support infrastructure automation and development.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage physical and virtual servers
• Administer Microsoft Windows Server and related server services
• Operate Microsoft Hyper-V, including clusters and virtual servers
• Manage storage and virtual network connectivity
• Monitor availability, performance, and capacity
• Install, configure, update servers and perform patch management
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, and DHCP
• Provide basic administration of LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Collaborate on switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi management
• Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP and VLAN network technologies
• Administer workstations, notebooks, and other endpoints
• Resolve hardware/software incidents at L2/L3 level
• Collaborate with Service Desk and other IT specialists
• Participate in server backup and restore activities
• Document infrastructure and contribute to change implementation and automation

Requirements

• Experience in system administration / IT infrastructure
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server
• Practical experience with Microsoft Hyper-V
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Knowledge of TCP/IP basics and networking technologies
• Experience administering server infrastructure
• Ability to independently handle technical problems and L2/L3 incidents
• Responsible and structured working style
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new technologies
