Description

You will own the design and delivery of technical solutions for assigned Healthcare & Life Sciences customers, turning business goals into scalable data lake, analytics, and semantic layer architectures on AWS. You will lead deep technical discussions and guide the technical path forward, including AI readiness considerations, while producing well-documented and reusable reference architectures and patterns. You will also contribute to technical content (whitepapers, workshops, and reference architectures) and share learnings with the Solutions Architect community.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer engineering and architecture teams
• Lead technical engagements around data platform, analytics architecture, and AI readiness
• Dive into AWS service details and map them to the customer’s broader data strategy
• Ensure delivered architectures are sound, scalable, and aligned to customer business goals
• Produce documentation and reusable reference architectures/patterns
• Contribute to technical content and review peers’ technical artifacts
• Identify gaps in AWS products/services from customer engagements and provide feedback
• Anticipate customer needs and provide proactive recommendations
• Participate in SA community knowledge sharing and collaboration

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or solutions architecture
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with data lake, data warehouse, or analytics platforms
• Experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS (or comparable cloud)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and analytics architectures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

• Base salary range (varies by location): San Francisco 151,000–204,300 USD annually; New York 144,500–195,400 USD annually; Dallas 131,300–177,600 USD annually
