Description

You will lead a Solutions Architecture team and partner with customers and AWS Sales to design scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. You will support revenue growth through cloud adoption and migration of applications and services, and educate customers through deep architectural discussions. You will also contribute to internal and customer-facing publications and act as a liaison between customers and engineering/support teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SA team as part of the technical account team
• Hire, enable, and develop solutions architects
• Build trusted relationships with customers for critical workloads supporting digital transformation
• Support revenue objectives through application adoption and migration to AWS
• Educate customers on AWS value and lead deep architectural discussions
• Contribute to white-papers and blogs
• Liaise between customers, service engineering teams, and support

Requirements

• 10+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer-facing resources
• 7+ years of infrastructure, database architecture, and networking experience
• 5+ years designing/implementing/operating/consulting with distributed applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field OR 12+ years related work experience
• Preferred: experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
