Description

Own the technical engagement and success of nonprofit customer implementation projects on AWS. You will design cloud architectures using AWS services, provide security thought leadership for applications, servers, and networks, and define implementation approaches in response to RFPs. You’ll lead whiteboard sessions, technical deep-dives, and presentations for audiences of all sizes while mentoring others and sharing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own technical engagement and project success for customer implementations

• Design AWS-based cloud architectures

• Provide security best practices guidance across applications, servers, and networks

• Respond to RFPs and define implementation approaches

• Serve as a subject matter expert on security for customer applications and services

• Lead whiteboard sessions, technical deep-dives, and presentations

• Capture and share best practices across the Solutions Architect community

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture peers and learn from technical experts

• Mentor peers and customers; stay current on AWS innovations and industry trends

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in relevant technology domain areas (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)

• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries

• 2+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures

• Ability to travel up to 30%
