Description

AWS is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to partner with financial services customers and AWS teams to design scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. You will help drive revenue through customer cloud adoption, advise on best practices for advanced cloud solutions, and support migrating existing workloads to AWS. The role includes educating customers via workshops and hands-on classes, creating reusable solutions, and contributing technical publications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to harness AWS services and accelerate their business
• Formulate and execute cloud adoption strategies and build relationships that drive strategic outcomes
• Serve as a trusted advisor on AWS services, design patterns, and best practices
• Act as the voice of the customer for AWS service teams to enhance the platform
• Collaborate with other Solutions Architects to develop reusable solutions
• Educate customers through workshops and hands-on classes
• Network with senior technical leaders to enable customer cloud advocacy
• Author and contribute to customer-facing publications (e.g., whitepapers, blog posts) and speak at events
• Mentor and support onboarding/training of new Solutions Architects via builder programs

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience for applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries

• Base salary range: $169,000–$228,600 (USA, NY, New York)
