Description

Lead and build a solutions architecture team to design highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures for enterprise customers. Partner with AWS Sales and technical teams to drive revenue objectives through application adoption and migration to AWS, and to educate customers through deep architectural discussions. Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison to shape and execute cloud strategy using business-outcome driven technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Solutions Architecture (SA) team as part of the technical account team

• Hire, enable, and develop solutions architects

• Build relationships with customers for critical workloads supporting digital transformation and cloud journey

• Support revenue objectives via adoption and migration of applications, software, and services to AWS

• Educate customers on AWS value proposition and drive deep architecture discussions

• Contribute to internal and customer-facing publications (e.g., white-papers, blogs)

• Liaise between customers, service engineering teams, and support to address customer needs

Requirements

• 10+ years managing technical, enterprise customer-facing resources (or equivalent)

• 7+ years infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience

• 5+ years designing/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR 12+ years of related work experience
