Description

In this IC Design Engineer position, you will perform digital physical design and physical implementation for high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC) ASICs. The role emphasizes hands-on use of leading physical design EDA tools and verification/timing workflows, including Verilog simulation, DRC/LVS, and STA. You will also provide technical support to customers and help address deep submicron design challenges for AI, computing, and networking products.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support large-scale ASICs (multi-100M gate complexity) in advanced process nodes (5nm and smaller)
• Use commercial and in-house EDA tools for design and physical implementation
• Perform verification and analysis using DRC/LVS and STA
• Provide technical support and manage customer working relationships
• Contribute to innovation, design flow, and methodology development for deep submicron ASIC design

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Experience/familiarity with VLSI design tools for Place-and-Route, Verilog simulation, DRC/LVS verification, and timing analysis (STA)
• Scripting experience with Tcl, Perl, or Python
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux

• Annual base salary range: USD 61,900 to USD 99,000
